About Marie Stopes PNG
Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea (MSPNG) is a member of the MSI Reproductive Choices global partnership and is Papua New Guinea’s leading specialised sexual and reproductive healthcare provider. Since 2006, MSPNG has worked alongside government, communities and development partners to ensure that everyone can access quality reproductive healthcare regardless of where they live.
With clinics, outreach teams and community programmes operating throughout Papua New Guinea, we work to make quality healthcare more accessible to people wherever they live.
How we deliver our services
MSPNG works across Papua New Guinea to bring services closer to communities, especially in places where access to healthcare can be limited by distance, cost or transport.
Our clinics
Our clinics provide confidential family planning and sexual and reproductive health services in a safe, respectful environment. Clients can visit us for information, counselling and care.
Mobile outreach
Our outreach teams travel to hard-to-reach communities to provide information, counselling and services closer to where people live.
Health worker training
We support local health workers through clinical supervision, mentoring and practical training that strengthens quality of care for clients.
Post-natal wards
We support women after delivery with respectful counselling and access to contraception when they choose to plan or space future pregnancies.
