Family planning support services
Family planning counselling services are available at all our clinics, either with our outreach teams operating in multiple provinces around the country, or in our Clinics in Port Moresby, Lae, Goroka or Hagen.
Our staff will introduce you to family planning, so you can best choose the method most suitable for your lifestyle and fertility choices.
Some people want to delay having a child in the next year or two, some up to 5 or 10 years and others may not want children or have completed their family. MSPNG welcomes all people no matter their age, gender or stage of life. We are an inclusive and non-discriminatory organisation, and so welcome all people to visit a centre or clinic to discuss their life plans so they can better choose when to have a child.
If you’re starting to use contraception for the first time, or thinking about using a new method, it’s a good idea to have a full consultation.
