Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea (MSPNG) is currently undertaking the 2026 MSL Quality Technical Assessment (QTA), taking place from 29 June to 17 July 2026.
The assessment is being conducted by Mr. Kennedy Ayoo, an assessor from the Marie Stopes Kenya (MSK) Program, who arrived in Papua New Guinea on 28 June 2026 to lead the review.
The Quality Technical Assessment (QTA) is an annual quality assurance exercise conducted across Marie Stopes programmes worldwide. It plays a critical role in ensuring that clinical services, systems, and operations continue to meet the organization’s global standards for quality, safety, governance, and client care. The assessment also provides an opportunity to identify areas for continuous improvement and strengthen service delivery across the network.
At MSPNG, the QTA reviews clinical service quality, safety, compliance, and overall site readiness across selected service delivery locations. It enables the programme to demonstrate progress, reinforce best practices, and showcase improvements made since previous assessments.

In preparation for the assessment, MSPNG clinical teams have worked closely with clinical supervisors and support departments to ensure all selected sites are fully prepared and operating in line with organisational requirements.
The 2026 QTA also contributes to the programme’s channel risk mitigation score, making quality compliance and operational readiness a key priority throughout the assessment period.
