“In many ways, this appointment feels like coming full circle. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand the realities faced by women, families, health workers, and communities across Papua New Guinea. These experiences have reinforced my belief that sustainable change happens when systems are strengthened, communities are heard, and people remain at the centre of the work we do,” Ms. Giranah said.
“Leading MSI PNG is not simply about managing an organisation. It is about supporting a dedicated team, strengthening partnerships, and contributing to a future where women and families across Papua New Guinea can access the services, information, and choices they need to determine their own futures.”
Ms. Giranah takes over the reins as Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea enters its 20th Year of service in Papua New Guinea, ensuring the organization remains committed to helping women and families across the country have access to high-quality, voluntary sexual and reproductive health services and information, regardless of where they live.
